Xpedition: Chattanooga is a new signature fitness event / endurance race designed to test your limits and showcase the best of the city. Swim, paddle, run, ruck and plenty more. Event 1 was hosted by Chattanooga, Tennessee in May 2025. Details for 2026 coming soon.

Event Overview / What To Expect:

  • Format: Compete individually or as a team (relay)

  • Duration: Expect the race to take approximately 4–6 hours to complete.

  • Course Overview: Cover ~14 miles through Chattanooga

    • Swim: 0.5 miles in the Tennessee River.

    • Paddle: 2 miles on the Tennessee River.

    • Run: 7.5 miles through Stringer’s Ridge trails, the riverwalk, and Chattanooga’s iconic bridges.

    • Ruck: 3.5 miles carrying weight (20–30 lbs) while ascending local ridge / mountain

    • Functional Fitness Challenges: lunges, burpees, and plenty more along the way split between various stations along the course.

  • Course Navigation: The route will be clearly marked, ensuring participants can focus on the challenge without needing navigation tools.
